Rapplica combines the words "Replica" and "app"because we want to reproduce digital applications in the real world. In doing so, we celebrate the art form behind user interface design and programming - transforming a digital snapshot into an iconic memento or an eye-catching advertising campaign.

This concept is currently under development.

visionOS

make the future of spatial computing a tangible experience for everyone.

The inspiration for this idea comes from the "visionOS" operating system, which runs on Apple's VR glasses "Apple Vision Pro". The system consists of windows that float in the air and appear somewhat milky. The highlight: thanks to the cameras in the glasses, you can still see your own surroundings around the floating windows.

We want to imitate this in the real world.

Target group #1

For companies that want to present their app/website.

For example, we could store for decorations online in the future. Instead of just experiencing products digitally in photos, an augmented reality application could make it possible to place them in a room in 3D and realistically compare their size.

Let's assume that the online store has developed such an app. How does it now draw attention to it in its flagship stores? Two-dimensional posters or billboards are no longer sufficient for a topic that requires so much explanation.

Companies could draw attention to their digital products in physical locations and make AR applications accessible to everyone without glasses. This could be used as a kind of bridge to make these new applications more tangible and generate buzz.

Target group #2

For technology enthusiasts who want to show their enthusiasm.

For many just a standard system setting, for Vision Pro-enthusiasts: The creation of a persona- a 3D avatar that makes it possible to appear spatially in video calls. This avatar is created in this section of the settings.

Bringing digital into the real world requires creativity and conceptual thinking. In order to create the persona-settings, which contain a preview of the avatar, we use a mirror, for example, so that the logic is retained in the real world.

Tech nerds, especially in the Apple Vision Pro-scene, are passionate about it. They know that they belong to a niche, which makes the whole thing a very emotional topic. The opportunity to express their enthusiasm through physical collectibles would therefore be very welcome.

Target group #3

For programmers & developer studios who are proud of their apps.

When you develop your own app - especially as an indie developer - there is usually a lot of passion and conviction behind it. With the Apple Vision Pro there is currently hardly any money to be made, and yet many developers put their heart and soul into this platform. The result? They are emotionally connected to their app and proud of what they have created.

We want to give them the opportunity to place their app like a trophy in their real environment - be it in the office or at home. A memento of the exciting early days of a still young platform.

Initial feedback on social media

The feedback to our one and only time we shared our idea with others was overwhelmingly positive - with numerous private messages and requests for us to go into production with it. The post reached 54,000 views and 734 likes. Also on Reddit he was similarly successful.
